Alexander was nominated for the 2017 Outstanding Lighting Design Non-Equity Jeff Award for his work on 'Winterset' with Griffin Theatre Company (2016) as well as the Equity Jeff Award in 2019 for his work on "Pinocchio" with The House Theatre of Chicago.
